The Local Federal Coordinating Committee (LFCC) is your campaign “Board of Directors” and is comprised of Military representatives and Federal employees as well as representatives of labor unions with Federal employees as members.

The LFCC is responsible for oversight of the Greater Olympic Peninsula CFC. Decisions regarding the inclusion of charities in your local campaigns are made by the LFCC.  The LFCC is also responsible for selecting the campaign Principal Combined Fund Organization (PCFO).

The PCFO manages the Greater Olympic Peninsula CFC and is responsible to the LFCC for the management of the campaign and its financial accounts. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) sets strict requirements for this role. The LFCC has chosen United Way of Kitsap County for this responsibility for the 2009 campaign.

The Greater Olympic Peninsula LFCC, chaired by Lieutenant Commander Jerry Schultz of NUWC Keyport, has approved local charities that help residents in this area or in adjacent counties having met eligibility standards established by the CFC regulations.
